Good question. I'm sure that law enforcement is leaving no stone unturned. Okay. So everyone is always complaining about their HOAs. I've generally been pleased with ours, but here's my gripe and it is a biggie. There was a Town Hall Meeting for our ghetto (because that is what it is starting to feel like) after the last major incident where someone did a drive-by and shot up a house. A committee to study camera placement and adding additional cameras was formed prior to the drive-by. I asked about the status of this committee at the "PLEASE DON'T SELL YOUR HOUSE, HOMEOWNERS, BECAUSE IF YOU DO YOU WILL SCREW UP THE DEVELOPER AND BUILDERS" meeting - oh, um, excuse me, the town hall meeting. I think that I was told that the committee meeting would be held soon and that it had gotten thrown off because of a change in community managers. But I've not seen one word about the status of the committee or recommendations about camera placement from the committee. I'm really steamed because maybe if we had additional cameras we would be able to give police something useful. Maybe, maybe not. But we will never know because, to my knowledge, nothing was done even though I asked about adding cameras.

Oh, and that meeting was laughable. They were like, oh, uh, we're going to be having lots of new activities. We're adding 21+ events for every month, yada yada. You could tell the developer representative at the meeting was having kittens, but he would have never admitted to it. We've always had activities, but I felt like they were trying to bribe us with the promise of adding more 21+ events, etc.
