U can make appt online and waiting is minimal.

@Cbear: FYI: If DD is RENEWING her car registration, she can do it ALL ONLINE and it's mailed to her home. A first-time registration must be done in person, but make the appointment online and be sure to bring ALL of the required documents and forms. It's not too bad, actually. Good luck!

@KathyMarshall : No. Every few years you have to appear in person to do the eye test.

No. Every few years you have to appear in person to do the eye test.

@Cbear : That is for your drivers license which you have to appear every other renewal or 12 years. DMV , license plates can be done on line indefinitely @ www. Texas.gov.
