@West-Tex : I don't know now. I haven't received a notice I have a trailer with mulch in it waiting for me to spread it. Oh, wait....I haven't bought the mulch yet.

@Stu9675 : For the HOA to have authority over street, it would need to own the street (very few do).

Otherwise it's up to the county and LE.

@ParksideRes : I ask because we live in Walden and on occasion need to park our RV on the road before and after we take a trip and it seems every time we come back and leave it overnight that the next morning I have an email from the HOA complaining about me *storing* an RV on my property.

I normally call them and ask for evidence showing that the RV has been stored on my property for a lengthy period of time, which of course they can't since it's only been there for a few hours.

@Stu9675 : Oh, some of them will still try, there are many things in their covenants that can't be enforced, but they'll certainly try to see if you do it.

However depending on length, Your RV may be illegal to park in front of your house on the street.

The RV is about the size of small UHaul. Certainly not one of the giant bus ones that other people have. We try to be mindful of our neighbors and not leave it parked there for any longer than necessary.
But I find it quite annoying when we get in late from a road trip and wake up to another "friendly reminder" from the HOA in my email inbox.

I'm going to check to see if Walden does on the streets or not. Thanks for the info.

Streets not behind a gate are public streets and belong to the county. If the streets are behind a gate, the county will not touch them. It's up to the homeowners living behind he gate to repair any potholes or make repairs to the streets.
