@lynnsgirl : Oh, my! I have cold chills just looking at that. We definitely have them at our house. I was thinking about chearing some vines that like to climb on one side but now I am not sure. You might want to get some Snake Away if it isn't dead. Not sure it works but I think I will go get some.

@lynnsgirl : So sorry to read this . I have heard the pain is really awful . I read an article a couple days ago that a Cotton mouth is worse than the copper head . So perhaps we need to all learn & teach our kids what to be looking out for . The snake books I have shows the cotton mouths at different stages of their life . So they look really different . You can;t say it's a black snake. One of my friends mothers got bit by a copper head . She was in the hospital & could not stand for anyone in her room to talk . She said the vibrations of their voice made her leg hurt worse . God be with her & you .

@ladybeachbum : Just watching it. Copperheads have one of the lowest potency venoms.I'm not saying not to go to the doctor, could have a bad reaction. There's a whole lot of snake misconceptions out there but I'm leery of pointing them out because people can get very touchy about it. 😂

@ladybeachbum : observation and pain Management is all I've heard of. I've known a few people to get bit and Anti-Venom wasn't even discussed.But I don't know the specifics here so I'm just going to leave it at that.
