I used to do yearly but got tired of shopping for a new plan annually. I locked in a decent 3 year rate (8 cents per kWh) in 2021 and am glad I did when the prices spiked. About this time next year I'll be searching. Not looking forward to it.

So I went to check out Value Power, are you aware they have sold out to Discount Power, and that company will be taking over in December?

I tried those. Heritage power said they had no plans in my zip code, and Cypress only linked me to Reliant.

I don't think so. There was a letter to customers, and I'm pretty sure it said your contract stays the same. I'll try and post it here.
