We were thinking about getting a live tree this year. We have a beautiful artificial tree but wanted to go real with the kids here this year. Well that was nixed when the wife found out what trees cost. She said I'm not spending that kind of money unless it's for Prime Rib. Can't argue with that kind of logic.

@Smokeybear : I can't argue with it, either. I like the lowered fire hazard of artificial trees angle, too. Not to mention that there isn't any real urgency to take it down soon after the holiday.
