@babypineapple : lightly sweet more spicy from the cinnamon. Just has a really nice scent and flavor.

West-Tex : I did one of my DH favorites the other day. Taco Casserole.

@Andi7 : That looks really yummy. I do a slightly different taco casserole with Hamburger, onions, frijoles, green chili sauce, canned diced tomatoes, top & bottom layers of tortilla chips and cheddar cheese. Baked for 45 mins on 350 and topped off with lettuce, jalapenos, mild salsa, sour cream and guacamole.

i dont know if this is a casserole or not but i have been making it for over 40 years. you take diced bacon and fry until its crisp then i saute onion and mushrooms in the bacon grease. then i add a can of mushroom soup.and i add a can of boned chicken. while it simmer i make a pot of rice i now use instant rice. i mix it all together and its filling. i make a small salad to go with it.
