It somehow makes me feel better, knowing that nature goes on around us despite our wars and mistakes and stupid elections - it's good to be reminded that there are whole universes where we don't matter at all.
Worst thing that ever happened to me...I put my hand in a spider web covered with baby spiders (unknowingly of course) and in a split second I had what seemed like hundreds of those little things running up my arm and all over me. I had three people brushing them off me. Went home and took what was probably the longest shower of my life.
