There's a blood drive at Octavia Fields on January 4th, from 1:30 pm to 5 pm- if any are interested.
You'll get a free hoodie for a successful donation. Schedule ahead of time for easy in and out!

I just went last week, but by then I could do platelets again. Please remind us again once it is a little closer.

I was a regular blood donor until health issues forced me to be on a medication that is not allowed for blood donation.

@Vinbert : I used to work at the ARC blood drives every quarter for my company sponsored drives for about 12 years. I gave at least 8 gallons (96 pints). I have good veins. Since my cancer, I stopped. I think that I may be able to continue but need to ask my oncologist next Wednesday at my (hopefully last) visit. My age (64 now) may also make me less ineligible.

Wow. You've done your part and then some. I gave plasma during covid to be used as convalescent plasma for treating covid patients since I had covid. This was during the early days of covid. I should give blood on occasion, bur I have small veins so don't want to give too often.
