@scamp : Not to say this marriage is an example, but it does amaze me how easily, and quickly, couples choose divorce rather than place the effort to repair the issues and fight for each other.

@trojantexan : You're not wrong. These two were married for 25 years. Apparently, the mistress was married too. Not sure what makes you want to throw it away, unless you're miserable and you just don't care anymore.

That said - I do believe that if you *really* do hate each other, there's no reason to stay in it for the kids, or for any other reason.
