Atascocita Driver Arrested After Allegedly Fleeing Traffic Stop on West Lake Houston Parkway

A traffic stop in the 19000 block of West Lake Houston Parkway led to an arrest, according to Constable Mark Herman's Office. Precinct 4 officials said Deputy Finan-Hernandez and Sergeant Cockrell attempted to stop a vehicle when the driver allegedly fled. Deputies later took the driver into custody on a charge of Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle, according to Precinct 4.

An arrest and charge are allegations, and the case will proceed through the legal process.

Wouldn't it just be easier to take your allotted "lumps" instead of adding some (OR more) felonies to your record? I never understand why people run. Do they actually think they are going to avoid getting caught? But then again, do they have a thought process?
