my pipes get cold, but still work just fine... I get a hard freeze every night, but DW handles that.

...and the plumbing in the house is also designed for sub-zero temps

Y'all are lucky that I found a roll of Kodachrome and they still offer 1 hr film development at the local camera shop... Here's a view of the weather station. It's been snowing since like 11AM. Can't see the mountains today with all those clouds. The chickadees that live in that forest have not been very active today. I've seen only one make it to the feeders.

@sandman : LOL - I work outside - I made a decision 27 years ago to live in the south for the weather - enjoy your frigid weather and all that goes with it!

For me - I will figure out how to protect my trees

It should be noted that with the minimal amount of cold weather we get here in Houston - the models suck - they should just predict a window....

Im sure districts will be cancelling school just based on the forecast.
