Not a fan of the Lost Cajun and I think Lupe Tortillas is better than Papas Cantina. A few others might disagree with but it's a good effort. Would like to see more restaurants in Atascocita/Humble. I like Applebees but that place had a bad smell they couldn't seem to get rid of

Chez Nous Why not visit the best fine dining option in Humble? Chez Nous is one of the most popular places to eat in Humble, serving excellent homemade French cuisine. Founded in 1984, the family-owned restaurant has honed its taste through the years. Nowadays, Chez Nous has become one of Humble's hidden gems and gained renown for its high-quality dishes and dining experience. Try their flavorful filet mignon, sizable yet tender lamb rack, and other French dishes, each with a beautiful presentation and extensive wine options to complement your meal. Chez Nous is at 217 S Avenue G. Make reservations in advance as locals frequent the place.

@West-Tex : I love this place. One of the best restaurants around

Pappas Seafood House Pappas Seafood House is the best place in Humble if you're looking for a refreshing seafood meal. They've served delicious seafood since 1981, with their owners proud of their Greek descent. They say that this is why they are passionate about serving only the freshest meals daily. Pappas Seafood House is famous for its large portions of absolutely excellent taste at an affordable price. Try their famous fresh and baked oysters and their delectable lobster dishes. As a seafood restaurant, the menus are full of fish of all types and dishes, but there are also chicken and pasta options if you wish for a little variety. Pappas Seafood House is at 20410 Highway 59 N, located quite away from the other restaurants. You'll have a better chance of getting a nice seating spot.

@West-Tex : Love Pappas seafood.. I'll be there tomorrow. Going to eat dinner with friends for a friends birthday

Amedeo's Italian Restaurant Amedeo's Italian Restaurant is not just your typical Italian restaurant. They serve authentic Italian cuisine prepared and presented by culinary institute-trained chefs and do jazz nights regularly. Founded in 1985, Amedeo's Italian Restaurant has become a local favorite for decades, offering one of the finest dining experiences in Humble. Amedeo's is the place to go whether you're in the mood for delicious Italian cuisine, tenderloin steaks, or even southwest rigatoni grilled chicken. Try out their popular veal dishes that are so tender you can cut them with your fork and their perfectly cooked fresh scallops. Don't forget to order from their vast wine selection and save up some room for their dessert; their flourless chocolate cakes are to die for. If you're interested in having an elegant dining experience, drop by Amedeo's Italian Restaurant at 22704 Loop 494 Ste A in Humble.

@West-Tex : Love Amedeo's it's actually in Kingwood. We usually eat there about once or twice a month. Really good food

Asian City Try the most popular Asian restaurant in Humble, Asian City. Founded in 1996, Asian City started as just a little Japanese restaurant. However, after adding Chinese cuisine and hibachi grills, they've since attracted the attention of locals and guests. They're famous for their large and diverse meat list for their hibachi meals: chicken, shrimp, beef, veal, scallop, fish, lobster, and many more! Enjoy a fantastic evening in Asian City with its quiet atmosphere, moody lighting, and elegant interior. Try every dish for yourself! You can find Asian City at 20205 Highway 59 N.

@West-Tex : I've never been to Asian city or Ticos tacos.

Agree or others you think…should be on the list?

@West-Tex : I really wish chain restaurants weren't making the list... but I suppose there is only so much to choose from. This does remind me though that there are a few places around here that I still need to try! We hardly ever eat out anymore... although I did get to try that Amedeo's southwest chicken rigatoni last night and that stuff is pretty great.

I'm with @floyd - skip the chains.

But I mostly agree with the list anyway. Missing for me would be Tacos Flores and El Jalapeño.

@Maxsmom : Asian city has always been hit or miss for me. I love Tita's, but I haven't been in a while since my kids don't go to daycare in Humble anymore.
