Thank you everyone. A cute little story. My mom has been trying to get my son (3-speech delayed) to say happy birthday with no luck. Today I went to go pick up my new glasses and of course he was with me. The lady that gave me my glasses was the same one that helped me two weeks ago. She played with my son then and tried to interact with him (he doesn't interact with anyone except me) at our last visit. Today, when we went, she asked if she could give him something, I said sure then asked what it was (could't think of what she could possibly give him). She comes back with two large trash bags full of toys and said they were for him. He announces that its "my (his) birthday". The whole store burst out in laughter .
