@WeveBecomeEastHouston : I have probably 10 or so and they go in the wash after the day used. I think it probably traps more crud than protects but I wear them and when I see someone with it down I just step away. But then I smooth walked out of a restaurant without it tonight. Part of me believes it works and part says it is BS. I reminded DH to NOT put it under his nose just a few minutes ago.

If wearing a mask really helps, why are people that are "avid " mask wearers still getting it? Just last week people around Kamala Harris tested positive. Biden's people all claim they're wearing them and Trump should be ashamed. 🤷🏻‍♀️I'm sure they help but it doesn't make you immune. Yup, above the nose. It has the same effect as sneezing into your elbow, to limit not eliminate how much comes out. It is a simple concept, but people are adding way to many other things to it. No it is not full proof, but yes it helps.
