Chick Fil A Sauces I am so excited. I found out yesterday that the Chick-fil-a sauce and the Polynesian sauce will soon be sold in grocery stores (I think they said WalMart and Kroger) early next year. They will be sold in 16oz bottles for $3.49. All of the proceeds will go towards scholarships for their employees. I love Chick Fil A sauce. I think they saw how profitable the Whataburger ketchup was so they decided to do the same thing.
I make chick-fil-a sauce at home all the time. Just mix up mayo, some Dijon mustard, a blob of honey, a shot of bbq sauce (I use Sweet Baby Ray's original) and a shake or two of white wine vinegar. That's it...taste exactly the same (better actually) without all the crap in it you can't pronounce! 👍
@brightlights : That is awesome! I am going to try that sometime. I agree, whenever I read the ingredients there's so many things I have never heard of. But I do love Chick-fil-A sauce.
@Weathergirl5 : You'll be amazed! If I had to guesstimate (I'm an eyeballer), I'd say 1/2 C mayo, 2 T Dijon, 1-2 T honey, 1-2 T bbq sauce, and maybe a tsp or so of white wine vinegar (more if you like it tangier). You can even thin it out by whisking in olive oil and use it as a salad dressing.
@LuGar : Back in the day I used to mix McDonald's BBQ sauce with their spicy hot mustard sauce. Dip a fry in each one then eat. YUM. They must have changed the recipes for those sauces because they are not the same anymore.
@brightlights : Chick-fil-A does have a lot of ingredients I can't even pronounce and their Chick-fil-A sauce. That is one thing I have never liked about it. But I still love the taste. But I'm going to take your suggestion at some point and try to make my own.
