@brightlights : I'll have to check it out. I was driving to the Porter one when I was not going in to stores. Although I've found stuff is cheaper at Total Wine.

@brightlights : I know but my husband informs me 15 minutes before I get off work that he needs something. 😂. I get him his same old thing then I get lost staring at all the different beers.

@MrsT : I love Total Wine but there are so many options, I can't decide what I want. I like Specs because they always help me make up my mind by asking a few questions. I spend more at Total Wine but don't usually enjoy it as much.

Y'all should check out Costco's liquor store. You don't need a membership card to purchase at their liquor store and I haven't found anyone yet who beats their prices.

Speaking of Specs...
I love them, staff is amazing! Al is the best! He saw me getting a bottle of my favorite vodka, Belvedere, and asked, why are you paying so much for vodka? Come with me, he grabs a bottle of White Gold and it was a fraction of the price. I tried it and now that's my favorite. Since then I always have a bottle of White Gold in the freezer. Others have made recommendations that have been fantastic and saved me money.
It's a nice feeling when a business doesn't try to up-sell you. They'll actually go out of their way and give unsolicited advice to save you money.

Spec's has been doing curbside since March - however - they do not tell you how the system works. I stood through the entire line, then when I reached the cashier - she informed me that I didn't have to stand in line, but should have just found "someone" when I came into the store to tell them why I was there.I didn't matter, because they didn't pull my order until I showed up.so - overall - their curbside pickup was a failure for me.Mask up and stand in line - no big deal - not a crowded store - Specs carries Zafra, Total wine doesn't, but total wine has a better selection of bourbon...

@redneckroy : No, they haven't. What you're describing is in-store pickup (don't really get the point of that lol). The Atascocita location is one of very few that haven't offered curbside (where you don't even get out of your car) until now. The curbside signs on the parking spaces just went up in the last week. But they haven't updated the website to be able to order online for curbside yet.The Kingwood store has been doing it for a while.
