Are you going to help hurricane victims?

@Mommy : Do you have a place to stay? Dh travels there every two weeks and last week the only thing available was one room at a Motel 6. I was told it will be like that for a month or two.

I will be donating my monies and yes I do have a place to stay as it is called L'auberge.

@Mommy : well that's good. I guess the casinos are open again. I hope they are providing for their employees who still might be without at home.Enjoy!

@Mommy : That's awesome! I'd feel bad partying over there any other way. I hope at least some other casino guests consider the same.

L'auberge has a big notice up about lack of some services, some gaming still out and minimal rooms due to them housing people without homes to go to. If you have a reservation, that is good but I sure wouldn't go there without one.

@ladybeachbum : glad to hear they are helping those without places to stay!!

L'Auberge is putting up a lot of first responders & volunteers in their hotel as well as feeding those in need over the past month. Yes I do have reservations and looking forward to my suite.

I get emails from them constantly saying "come on back" with 100 slot plays and free rooms.
sigh....just can't do it yet.
