As it says. They're on Hurst Forest, skittish, wouldn't come to me, but wanted to. One is definitely a beagle, the other might be a shepherd mix. Collars, but no tags that I could see.

All the illegal fireworks last night didn't help.

@carol888 : Yeah, I posted to that other app too, and noticed a whole bunch of loose dogs being posted. And from what I understand, they aren't illegal in unincorporated Harris County, just City of Houston, and City of Humble. But they are a violation of the HOA, but nobody can really enforce it. I don't believe the sheriff's can enforce an HOA law. IDK, I could be wrong.

@Vinbert : you are correct. The police will not enforce an HOA violation. It's hard to prove who is doing them when the whole neighborhood is out watching them.

Perhaps the fireworks scared them. It seems every time there are fireworks going off, there are loose dogs. We always make sure our dog/dogs are inside. We know that some fool is going to be fooling with fireworks around this time (and New Year's also). Wish people would be sure to have their pets inside when the 4th of July or New Year's is upon us. A lot of dogs freak out. (I, personally, don't blame them).

I had one dog that was afraid of thunder & Fire works & it was pitiful to see him & hold him through those times . The others just didn't like it & barked .

@bbk : One of ours has always been terrified, the Husky it never bothered when she was younger, but now it does. What actually seems to help is some CBD dog treats.
