It was like a Houston production on the beach but they closed down by 11 pm. I'm guessing needing to get off the sand before it turned the 4th. No vehicle traffic on my beach this weekend.
My dogs have been a nervous wreck for the past 3 or 4 days. It o my takes 1 pop and they are in full panic mode. I hope people finish up the fireworks tonight. I doubt it though
@nikkiole : That's good! I have one that doesn't care, one who is clueless and the other the biggest of the gang panics and cries and wants to put his large behind in your lap!
My dog doesn't care, Thank God. My last dog was a huge neurotic wimp about it. He would shake, cower, and hide in the bathtub. I would baby him, just like I would have a scared child, trying to comfort him...poor little guy. Years after he was gone and before I got the current dog, I read that we are actually training them to cower in fear when we comfort and baby them during fireworks and storms. Even though it's totally counterintuitive, I didn't baby this dog when I got him and he's fine with loud noises.
Thanks for blowing fireworks at 1245am you suck!!
