According to people that took this pill it does work. I know it is not a magic pill but it does increase the odds.

@cbp210 : mechanically it allows more zinc ( which helps kills viruses and bacteria ) to enter your cell, it slows down the virus from entering your cell, it slows down the replication of the virus once it is inside your cell.

I found it super odd when a couple places reported that it had no effect or made things worse.
I want to see what cellular functions it changed to make things worse, not just "well we talked to these people and counted this".

@M1cha3lo0o :

I too want to see some productive evidence and not some opinions clouded by the billion dollar pharma which Fauci works for.

Whelp we keep going round and round with this drug. Wherein its benefits or lack thereof has spawned more conspiracy theories than the Kennedy assassination. Look I'm not going to bother with attachments because the arguments have become circular. Some doctors have reported that the drug works or at least helps. While many others have reported that it does not in regards to treating this particular disease, and in fact makes things worse.

Then of course the conspiracy in this country comes into play in regards to those that fervently believe the lack of full throated endorsement by the NIH and CDC is designed to make you know who look bad. So my thought is at the end of the day, for those that unfortunately get a severe case of this disease, if they or their families are able to communicate to their doctor that they want to try it then by all means they should have that right.

Personally I would take my chances on Remdesivir. But that's just me.

interesting read, I would prefer a treatment that has been proven more successful, although as I may have access to this, it may be a good starter....

@redneckroy : It might end up being something that only healthy asymptomatic take for a week when testing positive to keep them from developing symptoms.

I wouldn't be surprised if we end up with multiple treatments that differ depending on your age group, health, and severity of symptoms.
Or must be combined with others to be effective.

Like any study with hydroxychloroquine without zinc I think is silly.

Also Phytate interferes with Zinc absorption, which is in staple foods like cereals, corn and rice. I think more people are zinc deficient then they realize.

Zinc also binds to humanin peptides. I which I wish humanin was readily available as a supplement.

It is the currently "chased" holy grail of health & longevity. Lol

"Humanin, a peptide encoded in mitochondria, appears to have a beneficial impact on both health and longevity in both humans and animals. Higher levels of humanin in the body are associated with longer life spans and a reduced risk of neurodegenerative disorders, like Alzheimer's disease."

Learn about everything as much as you can all day long, and attempt to improve your life for yourself and others.

Just like "breakfast is the most important meal of the day" was a slogan start by a man with the last name of Kellogg 🙃🤡
