Dog movies

Loading Image...

Do you go see them?

After Marley and Me we swore off dog movies.

As funny as it mostly was, the death of Marley changed who we were forever.

Years later we lost our beautiful lab Gabby who was the exact replica of Marley as a puppy. After her puppy years she was the most loyal and excellent dog you could ask for.

My DD's Will never go to another dog movie good or bad, too risky for them they say.

My sweet DH has to change the channel when the ASPCA commercial comes on or starving children. It's too much for him.

No, I don't watch dog movies. I don't like to cry. It's hard enough having fur kids, because they don't live long enough.

My friend loves dog movies. Hachi is her favorite. I'm not really into then because there aren't too many that are very good. Acting wise I mean. Marley and Me is an exception.
Old Yeller is a good one.

I want to watch some of the latest dog movies but just can't. I lost 2 fur babies almost a year ago one day apart. My heart still hurts for them.

I need to see A Dogs Journey. That looks good. Lassie was one of my favorites when I was little. Flipper and Andre too lol

If you don't like watching dog movies, STAY AWAY from 'The Art of Racing in the Rain''. Cried the entire movie. My DD walked out on the first scene.

@notarobot :

😬I'm so sorry.

Have you not seen Marley and Me?

It was out years ago.

I'm glad I saw it, it was really funny most of the movie and though I pass over the end now when it's on, I highly recommend you see it before the day ends. ❤️

@butterflykisses :

Ugh, you make me want to see it so bad but I'm not sure I could handle it.

I do love to see the loyalty of dogs in these movies. Wish we didn't have to lose them so soon, it's so heartbreaking. 😔

@LuGar :

DH67 read the book, Marley and Me. Of course he said it was better than the movie.

He was on an airplane when he got to the end... that's all he says I'm allowed to say about that.

@Ladyfairlane : If you watch it, have a box of kleenex handy.
