Disney on Ice Question, this will be the first time I take my little girl to this event, I've never been to this type of show. Need help on understanding the seating map at NRG and where is the front of the stage I looked at Vivid Seats but doesn't state where the front of the stage is. I want the best seating area as this will be a first time for my daughter and myself. Thanks for the feed back!!

@Cowboys81 : I never been to NRG for an ice show; however, I took my niece to then Toyota Center to see a kid ice show and we almost froze to death.

Check and see if y'all are permitted to bring a warm blanket. People did have blankets then, but with ramped up security--verify so you don't have to get rid of it.

Enjoy!!!!!

Disney on Ice is usually on a rink in the middle of the room. Sit low but not too low, because if you sit too low you only see some of the things going on. There's alot of activity and it's alot of fun, but trinkets are costly so feed her first unless you want to waste alot of $$ on food instead of cool gifts she'll hardly use. There should be a seating map online. Maybe get at least 10 rows up.

@Cowboys81 : Well it's probably no colder than being at a hockey game.

Buy some cheap light up spinning things at Walmart and hide them going in, then when your kid begs for the ones they are selling for $40+, whip your cheapo out. Sometimes they are identical. Best hack ever.

Your first time of course you are clueless! How much are you telling ahead of time? Feed and explain the boundaries! One gift/ toy / shirt and one snack. Otherwise you will break the bank! Have fun. I agree seating should be 10/15 up to see all

Yes! I agree! The trinkets they sell are ridiculous! High prices for something they won't ever play with again. That's what I remember from our outing, years ago!

I've been. Here is the seat map from Disney on Ice and it matches what I remember. "Curtain line" would be the "back" of the stage and section 131 to 128 would be looking at it. The back of the stage had a big apparatus from where characters and dancers emerge. We sat in section 3 and it was great. Those seats are on risers and we could still see everything. Plus down there there is a lot of character interaction. The show is from all around and interacts with all sides. Not like a stage performance of a play directed one direction.
