Glad he returned him....instead of abusing the dog.

@West-Tex : I think I should be returned by my pets because I'm very affectionate towards them. Snuggles and kisses all around!! That man did not deserve that sweet pup.

I don't understand why the author of the article is bashing the man for doing the right thing.

Not all pets suit all owners, better to return than to abandon.

@West-Tex : Awe this breaks my heart. That poor dog. I pray he finds another hone where is us loved and cherished for who he is. I'm glad the owner at least brought him back instead of just dumping him.

Should have kept reading, y'all! Emoticon

Luckily, after the post quickly went viral she was adopted in less than 24 hours. She is now in a wonderful home with a family who appreciates her and fully understands all of her special needs.

Poor baby. So glad she got a good home. When I was volunteering at the HSPCA someone returned a female black lab mix for being "too mellow." It worked out perfectly bc not long after she was back up for adoption a family looking for a laid back female black lab came in. They were a perfect match. It was love at first sight. I know that baby got a good home.

I think it's pretty pathetic of that person to publicly shame this man. Did they consider that when a dog is constantly underneath its older human's feet that it is a safety issue? Maybe that was the reason and he just explained it like a man...lol. That photo taker thinks they're all high and mighty and is passing judgement on a situation that is none of their business and that they don't know about. Shame on that person.

He needs to get himself a Shiba Inu....those dogs will not kiss you or rub against you for anything. I love mine, he's such a weirdo. He will get in a mood where he wants to be pet about once a week, other than that, they like hanging out with you and being around you, and eating your food, but they are not cuddly. Our Pyrenees/Anatolian on the other hand wants to be all over you, all of the time. I'd prefer a happy medium.

Isn't the point of having a dog to have a companion? Poor pup he probably finally thought he had a place to call home. I hope he finds a home where his love is appreciated.

Hopefully that guy doesn't adopt again. A lot of older shelter dogs have issues and need some help. The dog was by his side, more than likely because of anxiety. Just looking for a place to feel safe

Sad that he could not handle it, maybe he doesn't need an animal...

@Littlegoo : With my Yorkies years ago Guuci's spot was my lap, Armani was on the left side of me & judy on the right . Funny how these positions never changed .Somehow it got decided & that's how it was .But what I think happened I got Gucci 1 yr before I got Aramni ,so every time I sat he jumped up in my lap .Then 1 yr later with Armani I MIGHT have encouraged him to be on the left side of me because in the mornings I hold a cup of coffee in my right hand .When I got Judy it was simple , you want to be near me ? the right side is yours . How ever it got decided makes no difference I was happy to have them . But I have had no dogs since them because I'm afraid of falling . So this person may have made that decision for exactly that reason . Had to have been a good guy because he didn't dump the dog .
