Door to door. I never tell kids from the neighborhood no when I can support them with a few dollars.

You're going to end up buying a box of chocolate candy bars...the cost of parenting. I wish they'd just ask parents for a monetary sum instead of giving 80%+ of sales money to these crap candy, wrapping paper and useless junk companies. It doesn't teach kids anything because the parents are the ones who pressure friends, family and co-workers to buy. The only ones coming out ahead are the sales companies.

I would not let son go door to door as a wee one. Even back in 90s was a huge no to me! Why the leagues promote this still is beyond knowing. Money always talks. We teach them stranger danger, but hey, let's go door to door with this shizz. As parents, we need to speak up. I did back then and told them how wrong i felt was...and refused to do.

@eighteen : that requires a lot of legal paperwork. The organization has to have insurance on the participants. Also, the corporate offices have to approve as well as the individual managers.

If that's the case, I suppose you could grab a cart, fill it with candy, and walk around the store "shopping".

@margrath : when you go out to eat after church, take them in so they won't melt. You might sell some more!
