One of my Canadian friends posted something earlier about the "No Kings" Day. I had to inform her that in the USA we have no kings since 1776... asked her about how her King is doing...

AMCLady : I would rather see Congress work with the presidents than always fighting against them. With this president it seems to me when the Democrats are the majority, they spend most of the people's time trying so hard to take him down. I have a real problem with that kind of power in Congress. It's such a waste.

redneckroy : I read more. Tribunal said he must be held before court marshall due to release violations. He's at a civilian detention center and military rules dictate he cannot be with convicts or civilians. That leaves loneliness.
yes, but punishment before conviction must h be consistent with penalty of conviction; solitary confinement isn't on the list for a minor crime. Kick his *** out, demote him, or 60 days in the brig.

Andi7 : He's actually doing most of it through sycophants placed in high places, executive orders (300 already) and just flat out ignoring laws and court orders. Congress has barely done anything, and a lot of what they have done is detrimental to those that elected them. Is there a term for political stockholm syndrome?
