@ginx: Looks amazing! I'll have to look around at some local farmers markets to find some to try.

The kind of Chow Chow that I'm familiar with is the Pennsylvania Dutch (Amish) style recipe. It's one of my all-time favorite dishes!

My Grandfather and Father made Chow Chow every year Their recipe used green tomatoes instead of cabbage. Great on sandwiches... #msg2186515

@Smokeybear : My mother used to make chow-chow too. She used tomatoes as well. No cabbage, though.
