@Sammee: I clicked on the link and did a screen shot. I'll have to give this a try. I haven't cooked Lasagna in years because it makes a major kitchen mess

Update! The lasagna came out magnificent! I just kind of put few recipes together to create my own. I think the mixture of beef and sweet Italian sausage along with combining cottage and ricotta cheese made it exceptionally great. I also used the fresh mozzarella-grabbed a big ball of it and sliced off pieces and layered with all of the other ingredients.

Real Italians don't use ground beef. I use Sweet Italian Sausage (browned) from Kroger because it's the best I've found down here. I prefer cooked noodles. The ones at Aldi's are really good or Kroger's generic brand. Mix your Ricotta (Do not use cottage cheese, it isn't the same thing) with 2 egg yellows for each container of Ricotta, 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, 1 t. of salt 1 t. pepper and 2 t Oregano flakes.
Another thing you must do is spread a layer of Meat Sauce on the bottom of your pan.
