Lasagna Recipe Please

I can't believe I have never made it myself. I sent my son a text a few minutes ago asking him what he would like tonight (don't judge me, I always ask my kids and husband for supper/dinner ideas) My son came back with lasagna. He has only ever had it from me putting a frozen one in the oven. I can't believe I have never made one myself. I think the TO COOK, or NOT to COOK the noodles scares me. Anyway, if any of you have a little time before 5 when I get off and head to the store to give me some pointers and/or recopies, I would appreciate it.

Thanks!!

This one is easy. You don't have to precook the pasta. It is delicious. From the Skinner pasta box.

@Amanda79 : I use the recipe on the back of "Barilla" noodles and my family loves it. I do add extra cheese though. I have not had good luck with the noodles that you don't boil first. All I can recall is 1# ground beef, 3 different cheeses and I use Prego sauce. Spices are garlic, onion powder and I think garlic salt. Good luck friend!

@Cbear : oh great! That would be easy enough if I can just stop by the store and pick up those noodles. Will they be at HEB or Kroger you think?

@walkchalk1 : Oh wow! That may be even cheaper than what I could make it at home for! Maybe this is a better idea for a week night rather than me having to stop by the store and all first.

@Amanda79 : I just remembered ....I use ricotta, mozz and parm. HEB is a good bet. I have made it at least 10 times and seem to tweak it every time. Good with either beef or sausage.

@walkchalk1 : Does the family of 4 meal actually feed that many? Meaning, is it plenty, or should I go for the larger and possibly have leftovers?

@Cbear : Thank you! So you are suggesting boiling the noodles 1st, right?

@Amanda79 : Yes. While boiling...brown ground beef. Time saver. Don't forget the garlic bread and maybe a salad!

@Amanda79 : Noodles take like 10-12 minutes as would the beef or sausage. I would also suggest as a time saver to begin blending all the cheeses, spices and eggs. Then..throw it in the oven, get a glass of wine, hang with the fam for 45 minutes while it bakes and enjoy.

@Cbear : Oh yessss! This will be fun for Hagen and I to do together. I gave him the option of maybe ordering it, but he says he wants to help make it. We can let EG help with the salad!
