New weapon on my War on Xmas
Asalto de Navidad, or "Xmas Assault"... if y'all understood Spanish, this song would crush your Xmas Spirit.
The singer, Hector Lavoe, unfortunately lived a very tragic life, full of drug abuse, Santeria, HIV, attempted suicide, accidental death of his eldest son, etc. Lavoe died nearly 30 years ago and left me an arsenal of anti-Xmas music to use in my crusade.
Note: si eres hispanoparlante, como la @West-Tex, ignora la cancion y el resto del mensaje.
@sandman : If I felt I needed it I do know how to use translate on here. I'm not computer inept ya know. I've been using them since there was Mylar tape all the way to some Main Frames LOL!, and I built word processors for AB Dick Corp. in the 70's.

Salsa isn't my thing, but growing up in Panama during the years Ruben Blades was in the middle of the Salsa stuff in NYC, it was hard not to like it. Ruben Blades, Johnny Pacheco, Willie Colon, Hector Lavoe, Ismael Rivera, Celia Cruz, those were Salsa royalty.
Fact: my grandmother was Ruben Blades typewriting teacher in High School. Blades went to Instituto Nacional, where my grandmother taught from the late 40's to early 70's.
