Maybe she'll move somewhere close by? My gyno is retiring in December. I don't want to have to find a new Dr.

@MrsT: it was my first time with her, but they have a good reputation. Everytime I find one, they move.

I went there when we first moved here, and I was not impressed.

I'm still shopping around some 18 months later. The girl that @catmae recommended did pretty well EXCEPT she charges $85.00 which is a bit much for me. The good thing was, though, that I ran into someone I know while I was entering the salon (Tuscany) who is uses a different stylist there. She is pleased with her stylist and that stylist charges less. I think she said $60.00 or $65.00. A good bit less. I'll give her a try next time.

I found an independent a while back that I really liked as far as the styling went. However, she was not very reliable. So, I branched out and looked for somewhere else. I had been to J. Thompson years ago, and they were ok. So, I went to try them again, and the stylist did a decent job.
I tried to book at Bella Sorella, and was told they weren't taking new clients, unless I either wanted to commit to night time cuts, or one of the stylists that just rents a chair there.
I'm just about out of options at this point.

@Catmae : I just paid $85 last week for a cut and style.

@Catmae : I probably will. I just hate not having someone that knows me, and my hair. Leo always called me his little rocker chick- and my hairstyles usually fit my personality lol.

@Vinbert : I totally get what you mean. Another place you can try is Salon M. I haven't had my hair done in a few years, but my friend Mandy owns Salon M and you may like her place better. @Catmae : Well, I went back inside and told my co-workers one of them needs to step up and learn how to cut hair. We decided we're going to just stick my hair to the Cricut sheet and have at it... And no, really, here's some samples of what it's been in the past... I had one that was very "5th Element" too, but I don't know where those pics are. It was like a bright orange on the top, and dip dyed hot pink on the bottom.

@Vinbert : You DEFINITELY need to go to Salon M. It will cost you a lot, but this is their specialty.
