It was a good rain, woke me up when we lost power for a minute. Now we have a light shower that should end about daybreak. Andy,s weather station shows about 1.25 inches. @Weathergirl5 : You can put your clothes back on…..

Well no bike riding this morning. Tires with no tread and wet streets don't go well together.

Still coming down over here. Although it's not pouring anymore it's a slow steady rain. Just what my grass needed. Everything already looks so much greener.

@Weathergirl5 : Its not like the tires are bald, but they're definitely not brand new. I don't even think about it when I drive it, but I have to drive differently then the Fiat in the rain, because the Fiat's tires are a lot newer. I'll probably still let him drive, but it will be a truncated session, just so he gets a chance to feel the difference.

@Vinbert : True but even without ball tires when the roads are slicker it's just easier to slip and slide. Or maybe that's just my bad driving

@Weathergirl5 : nah, prolly not. I'm known to be a very cautious driver, and even I spin the tires on the van occasionally when it's wet out... I tend to "step on it" a bit too heavy when starting out at a traffic light. So, I spin the tires once, and then go "Oh yeah! I'm in the van! D'Oh!"
