Good Saturday morning
Good morning friends and happy Saturday. It is a balmy start to the day and we are entering a rainy period for the next few days. I just hope we don't get hours upon hours of rain next week. Does anyone have any plans today? I am hoping to get out for a walk this morning and then run a few errands. I hope everyone has a great day.

Try to get some yard work done today to prepare for the rain next week. Then clean house. Ran errands yesterday. Just enjoy today.

Happy Saturday! My GD and her husband are moving to their new apartment today. Finally getting my house back. It was fun helping them relocate from Boston but glad they're getting their own space. Have a great day!

I am currently cooling my heels under the ceiling fan. So stinking hot. Dh reminded me that it isn't summer yet. (I told him I can't wait for fall.) We went to a charity garden tour this morning. Price of admission was donation of one canned good for the Baton Rouge Food Bank. We donated several items and toured three gardens. Two of the three were spectacular. Came home and ordered personalized books for the grandbabies. Pricey but it is for their first birthdays. I got one 50% off by paying full price for the other. Babies and young children love hearing their names. I plan on giving a book of some sort for every birthday and Christmas. Will go out to the pool in a few more hours and meet with friends. Will bring margaritas. We have the slushie machine currently churning. It is our first try so we will see how this works out.
