The preschool cooks daily activities involve both menu development, ordering and the preparation of nutritious meals and snacks for all students. Menus are developed through collaboration with nutrition guidelines and food program. Cooks must be able to provide substitute meals for children with special dietary requirements.
Must Have Food Handler Permit
Willing to undergo a background check, in accordance with local law/regulations.
Working days: Monday thru Friday 8:00-2:00
Job Duties: Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner, Follow recipes and presentation specifications, Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently, Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation, Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment, Restock items as needed throughout the shift, Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
