 Tony Pineda Owner and Coach Two time Olympian, NCAA All American Gymnast, UCLA Team member. | Tony Pineda began gymnastics at the young age of ten in his hometown of Mexico City. By the age of fourteen, he was invited to train in Oregon, where he pursued his education at South Eugene High School. In 1984, Tony joined the UCLA Men's Gymnastics Team. During his time at UCLA, the team secured two national championship titles in 1984 and 1987. Tony proudly represented Mexico in two Olympic Games, namely the 1984 games in Los Angeles and the 1988 games in Seoul, South Korea. He also participated in six World Championships and has two moves named after him in the International Code of Points as a result of being the first to perform these skills in International Competition. |

more than twenty-seven years of coaching experience, Tony brings his
passion for the sport, positive mindset, hands on approach and technical
expertise to Spark Gymnastics Academy. He is thrilled to have the
